First thing that I have to tell you is that I knew about your band because of your participation in the "My own Wolf: A New Approach. A tribute to ULVER" album with the song "Nowhere / Catastrophe" (in my opinion the best track of the "Perdition City" album).
As a like that song that much a wanted to know who were the guys playing the cover (an excellent cover by the way) and I found you in the website of the album (panacea.msk.su) then a saw that you play progressive dark / gothic / doom metal and that you're influenced by Arcturus and Solefald, two of the best Avantgarde Metal Bands, both things makes me be interested.
Next thing was me downloading your "Timedemo", and since first time I listened to this record I like it, a like it a lot. I played it for 3 days in a row without listening any other album.
I'll write a few about all the tracks:
Bleak: Great intro, it shows what I'll get from this demo. A very mature composition, with no worries in trying to put all what you can do in the first seconds (like others bands do).
Fast: My favourite track, it remains me the Arcturus's opus "Ad Astra". The vocals create an excellent feeling of ... I don't know how to call it, but can be: "Faithful Desperation" (with could be the name of a song ... if you once want to use it at least give me some credit ... ha ha).
Tragic: Guitars and the background drums-cymbals from 2:55 to 3:09 can easily explain why the name -> tragic. That's what I feel when I listen to that part, excellent. And what I like the most it the fact the song ends with some kind of hope (musically) for the listener.
Hormone: Maybe the best track on the demo, I really don't know what to write about it. I just think to every element fits on this track. The timing remains me somehow Ihsahn's The Adversary, slow/quiet music that in 1sec becomes aggressive and then return to the slow/quiet pace.
Sentinel: Uhh … is it the most heaver track in the demo? Sure it is! I just want to point out the power of the voice on this tune, it's incredible.
I hope this can help you a little in your way to create an even better band, and to make you realize that you have fans outside Latvia (sure you already know that).
By the way ... I saw/read in your website that you have played covers like: Anathema's Empty, the Kovenant's Jihad, and Arcturus's Ad Adsurbum, and I have a question: How can I get this covers? Have you ever recorded them?
Greetings from Costa Rica.
